Celebrate the Fourth of July Weekend with traditional smoked barbeque by Wishing Stone's own chef-in-residence Benny Brisket! Inspired by the backyard smokers of the south, Benny's brisket, ribs, pulled pork & chicken are smoked for over 14 hours and will be served alongside your favorite sides from last summer. Highlighting in-season produce from Wishing Stone Farm, the Barbeque Dinner will include cole-slaw, potato salads, and of course, corn bread. Dinner will be served buffet style with a vegetarian option available. BYOB.
Benny 'Brisket' Little has been in the barbeque game since 2014 when he discovered his love for smoking his own meats while working for a BBQ-themed catering company. In 2015 Benny joined the team at Wishing Stone Far and has been working in their kitchen making your favorites from Babbette's Feast. Since his introduction to BBQ, Benny has refined his recipes, experimented with sweet & tangy barbeque sauces, and developed his own dry rub to create a flavor that had people coming back for more all summer long last year. In the spring of 2016, Benny drove down deep into the backwoods of Georgia to pick up an off-set reverse-flow steel smoker which has been the backbone of his operation ever since. Benny's affinity for barbeque and love for implementing Wishing Stone's fresh produce into as many of his dishes as possible, will make this barbeque dinner a delicious way to kick off your summer holiday.
