Super excited to announce that Wishingstone Farm, Joint Venture, and north restaurant are teaming up to host a farm dinner this summer! Situatated in idyllic Little Compton, Wishingstone Farm supplies some of the best produce in the state, and are longstanding cornerstones of the Saturday farmers markets both during the winter in the Pawtucket Mills and in the summer at Lippit Park. Joint Venture is a seafood based roaming pop up based in NYC and is headed up by Danny Newburg, who has worked at that city's most notable restaurants, including Momofuku Ko, through which he met James Mark, owner of north restaurant. North is a small restaurant and bakery located in the West Side of Providence, where they cook weird and wonderful food that is comforting and unexpected at the same time.
There will be a single seating at 5:30 for this dinner, and the meal will be served family style in six courses. It will heavily feature Rhode Island seafood and produce from Wishingstone farm, as well as produce and dairy from surrounding farms. Think oysters, lots of raw and cooked vegetables, whole grilled fish, and sweets. In serving this dinner family style, we ask that you bring your own dinner plate - we will provide cutlery and napkins as well as water glasses. Don't worry, we will wash your dinner plate and return it to you before the night is up.
The evening will be BYOB. Feel free to bring what you would like, but please be safe and don't drink and drive.
We will do our best to accomodate all allergies, but please understand that we will be cooking outside with limited resources, and cannot promise to be able to accomodate everyone. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if with any dietary concerns.
Tickets for dinner will be $75 plus a small fee from eventbrite.
We hope to see you there!
